Hello, I'm Cate! I'm studying computer science in Vancouver, BC, I have a lot of feelings about stupid television and mediocre webcomics, and I play the banjo. Activism and social justice are extremely important to me, and they show up every once in a while, but I'm generally more of a volunteering-off-the-internet person than a yelling-at-people-online one. With this last update it’s pretty clear that there’s some sort of purposeful parallel being drawn between Dirk and Equius (bizarre horse fetish, robotics, etc.), and the STRONG thing just confirmed it. There’s also a sliiightly weaker association between Jake and Aradia interest-wise that I still think may be fairly significant as well—they’ve got matching Indiana Jones posters.

ANYWAY, this was all stuff I kind of knew already, and I am kind of curious if the other alpha kids will end up having connections to particular trolls, but, uh.

If Dirk : Equius :: Jake : Aradia, uh, what does that say about Dirk/Jake as a ship? :S :S :S I MEAN IDK MAYBE I’M READING TOO MUCH INTO THINGS, but I don’t think that bodes particularly well. ??? ???? D:???
